The primary purpose of this ERP project is to provide the County with a system that integrates financial, human resource, time management, payroll, tax and fleet functions into integrated system(s) to streamline processes and information across the entire organization. In addition, an ERP system can satisfy statutory and managerial reporting needs and increase efficiency through the adoption of best government practices. This new system will reduce the costs associated with maintaining multiple outdated systems that do not “talk” to each other. It will also enhance the quality of the information available. This new system will help improve the overall efficiencies of the County through business processes re-engineering and optimized system configuration.
